About me:
My PhD research (2009‒2012) entitled: The magmatism of the Vosges Mountains: consequences of Paleozoic subductions (Dating, Petrology, Geochemistry, AMS), at University of Strasbourg (France) was funded by BRGM (French Geological Survey) and Région Alsace and involved a petrological, geochemical (Major- & trace-elements and isotopic analyses), structural (AMS) and geochronological (U‒Pb on zircon & monazite) study of magmatic rocks of the Vosges Mts. (NE France), part on the European Variscan Belt.
I have previous post-doc research (2 years) entitled: Magmatic and tectono-metamorphic evolution of the paleoproterozoic gold-bearing Toulépleu-Ity district area (SW Ivory Coast), at University of Besançon (France), which was funded by LaMancha/COMINOR and involved a metamorphic, structural and geochronological study on gold-bearing skarns in order to define the magmatic and tectono-metamorphic evolution of the studied area.
I started at the Centre for Lithospheric research in January 2016 where my research focuses in structural investigations by AMS methods on granitic rocks and migmatites in the Variscan Belt: Vosges Mountains and Bohemian Massif .
Research interests:
- Magmatic Petrology & Geochemistry
- Geochronology
- Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) on magmatic rocks & migmatites
- Crustal anatexis in high-grade metamorphic terranes
