About me
I completed my Bachelor degree in Fundamental Physics at the University of Lorraine, France (2019-2022), and my Master degree in Geology at the University of Strasbourg, France (2022-2024). I now intend to pursue my studies with a PhD in magmatic and/or metamorphic petrology.
My work at the Czech Geological Survey is part of a research project on migmatitic metamorphic rocks from southern Madagascar, titled "Pervasive melt migration in a crustal-scale shear zone, southern Madagascar". This work is carried out under the supervision of Pavlína Hasalová and Karel Schulmann, with support, among others, from Robyn McRoberts and Pavla Štípská.
The project combines field-based structural geology, petrographic, chemical and quantitative microtextural analyses, as well as P-T modeling and U-Pb zircon geochronology. Our aim is to understand the mechanisms controlling melt pervasive migration within the shear zones, and to assess its impact on the texture and composition of the intruded rocks. We also aim to reconstruct the metamorphic history of the region and constrain the timescale of the intrusion.
